Here's to 27

Hi friends!

I haven't been writing lately - I've been busy enjoying my post-finals freedom. A couple days ago, however, I turned 27 and it was simultaneously wonderful and overwhelming. And so, here I am.

The thing is, I cried my way into 27.

Summer Bucket List

Happy Tuesday, friends!

It's been forever and a day since I've posted, but here I am. Finals are over and I couldn't be happier to have some normalcy back in my life. Goodbye stress eating and no sleep - I will not miss you!

While it's only May, the end of finals means the start of summer for me. I am so excited to fill the next three and a half months with all kinds of adventures. While studying, I started to make a bucket list, and thought it would be fun to share here!

April Fitness Challenge: Week Three

Happy Sunday!

How was your week? I took a social media/blogging break to celebrate a few friends' birthdays. I was running from work to school to a restaurant almost every night. It was kind of crazy, but so much fun!  With finals rapidly approaching (ugh), it was so important to get in as much quality time in as possible.

Of course, going out almost every night - even if it was just shared appetizers and a couple drinks - was pretty unhealthy, and the late nights didn't help either. Working out felt especially important but it was so hard! I may not have worked out as much this week, but I'm glad I still managed to get some in.

If you're just tuning in, you can check out my original post here, week one here, and week two here!

April Fitness Challenge: Week Two

Happy Monday!

If you're just tuning in (hi!), you can get the lowdown on my April fitness challenge here, and read all about my first week here. I'm sharing my second week a little late because of Easter. I hope you had a wonderful holiday! My family came to visit and I hosted for the very first time. I made lamb, tons of veggies, homemade bread and carrot cake cupcakes, and I'll be honest - it was kind of amazing.

Last week was another (mostly) beautiful one here in NYC, so I did my best to take advantage! Who else prefers working out outside instead of in a gym?

So without further ado, here's my roundup of my second week!

Friday Favorites: 5 Shows to Watch When You've Had a Bad Day

Hello and happy Friday!

Overall, this week was a pretty good one. Because of Passover, I didn't have class on Monday and Tuesday. It was such a nice break, and I took advantage by having dinner with friends!

Do you ever have those days where you're ten different shades of cranky? And no matter what anyone does, you just can't shake it? It happens, and it's kind of the worst.

When I have those days, I sometimes turn on Netflix. It's not quite as healthy as a run or yoga, but sometimes a good laugh or getting lost in someone else's life is exactly what I need. So today, I'm sharing five shows that always put me in a better mood!

Quick and Easy Homemade Bread

Happy Tuesday!

After a Friday Favorites post last month, I received a few sweet emails asking about the bread I made. It's such an easy, customizable recipe, so I thought it would be fun to share on here! I found the original recipe buried in an old recipe box in my parents' house ages ago, so I'm not sure where it originally came from.
